a driving demo at the KHP

As part of the opening ceremonies for a big Grand Prix jumping competition at the Kentucky Horse Park — part of the Park’s recent “Hats Off Day” — two local carriage drivers performed a crowd-pleasing dash through a cones course that wound its way past the jumps in the Rolex Arena.

First up was Todd Draheim, who trottedĀ a team of Hillcroft Farm horses smartly through the cones course. Then Misdee Wrigley Miller, who owns Hillcroft Farm with her husband, James Miller, drove another team of her horses — dashing through the course at a gallop. The crowd loved it, and we hope they (and you!) will come back out to the Kentucky Horse Park in just a few weeks for this year’s Kentucky Classic CDE!
